No — nothing, at any stage. Universities pay us a standard partner fee for every admission, and because we partner with all the top Irish universities and colleges, we're paid roughly the same wherever you enrol. That's what keeps our advice neutral.

Masters tuition runs Rs. 12L–Rs. 35L for the year, depending on the university and the course. A student actually spends Rs. 8L–Rs. 10L a year living there. Separately, you need to show proof of living funds — Rs. 12L for Dublin, Rs. 10L for any other county — and 60% of the tuition is paid before your application is finalised. 85% of our students get a scholarship of Rs. 1.5L or more, an education loan can cover up to 70%, and part-time work helps with living costs but will not pay tuition. Yes — 20 hours per week during term and 40 hours per week during holidays, legally, as a registered student. At Ireland's minimum wage this typically covers a large share of living expenses.

Masters graduates can take a 2-year graduate stay-back to look for work — but it is optional. If an Irish company sponsors your child on a Critical Skills Employment Permit, they can move straight onto it after the Masters and skip the graduate route entirely. From a work permit it is around 2 years to Stamp 4, which means no employer sponsorship, freedom to change jobs, and the right to start your own business. Citizenship comes after 5 years of qualifying residence — and this is the part nobody tells you: student years and graduate stay-back years do NOT count toward that five. Only permit years count. Realistically it is about 6 years from landing if sponsorship comes quickly, and about 8 if the graduate route is used first. An Irish passport then gives the right to live and work across all 27 EU countries and in the UK — and to start your own business anywhere in the EU, the UK, or Ireland.
